When my siblings and I were very young, my dad would often solve our weekend boredom by taking us on "adventures" around the bay area. Little did we know, he had no plan each time he loaded us into the car and hit the road. But it didn't matter...we would end up at Pomponio Beach or San Gregorio Beach, or among the redwoods of Big Basin. Ever since then, I've had a great love for spending time outdoors.
